Using UneedLists
You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for everything posted from your account.
What you can submit
Products you built, own, or are authorised to represent. Submissions are reviewed before publication.
We reject: rehosted templates, affiliate landing pages, products that do not load, content that is illegal or infringing, and anything whose only purpose is acquiring a backlink. This is not gatekeeping for its own sake — UneedLists can only keep offering do-follow links for as long as the domain stays clean.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you post. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to display it on UneedLists and in our feeds, newsletter and social posts. You can delete your content at any time; the licence ends when you do, except for copies already distributed in an email or feed.
Voting and ranking
One upvote per person per product. You may not upvote your own product — this is enforced in the database, not just in the interface. Vote manipulation, including coordinated voting rings and automated voting, results in removal of the affected votes and may result in a ban.
Paid placements
Featured and sponsored placements buy visibility, never ranking. All paid placements are
visually labelled and carry rel="sponsored" on outbound links. Refunds are available in full
before a launch goes live; once a placement has run it has been delivered.
Links
Outbound links from verified products and verified profiles are do-follow. Unverified profiles
and all user comments carry rel="ugc nofollow". We reserve the right to change any link's
attributes, or remove a listing, if it becomes a spam vector.
Acceptable use
Do not: scrape at a rate that degrades the service, attempt to bypass rate limits or authentication, upload malware, harass other users, or impersonate anyone.
Availability
UneedLists is provided "as is". We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we do not guarantee any particular search ranking. Nobody can.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms, with notice where practical.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months, or $100.
Changes
We will announce material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
